Elite Hotel Adlon is located at Vasagatan 42 on Norrmalm, central Stockholm, and is operated by Elite Hotels of Sweden. The building is constructed in neoclassical style and dates from 1884. The hotel is classified as four-star and contains 213 rooms.

The location is closely connected to Stockholm Central Station and Arlanda Express, whose terminal is in the immediate vicinity. The T-Centralen underground station is within walking distance, and buses from various parts of the country stop at City Terminal directly opposite the hotel. The shopping street Drottninggatan and Oscar Theatre are nearby, and Gamla Stan is reachable on foot. The hotel offers 24-hour reception and parking adjacent to the property for a fee. Room categories with varying size and views

The hotel's 213 rooms are divided into several categories with notable differences in size and location. Standard Single is the smallest category and suits one person. Standard Queen is a small double room suitable for one to two people. Standard Double and Superior Double offer more space and suit one to two guests. Deluxe Double is a further category in the same segment. The Junior Suite is the most spacious category for up to two guests and offers city views. The Family Room accommodates up to four guests and is the only category with a higher maximum capacity than two people.

Restaurant Gioia and the breakfast buffet

Adjacent to the hotel, at Gamla Brogatan 36–38, is restaurant Gioia which is operated within the Elite Hotels sphere. The restaurant profiles itself with Italian trattoria-inspired cuisine and an atmosphere described as lively and metropolitan. It offers more than 100 seats as well as a wide selection of wines, spirits and cocktails. Gioia is open Monday to Saturday from 14:00.

The breakfast buffet is served separately and is open to hotel guests as well as external visitors. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 06:30–10:00 and Saturday to Sunday 07:30–11:00. Breakfast for external guests is offered for a fee and is available subject to availability. The hotel also has a bar and lounge area that complement restaurant Gioia's food and beverage offering.

Restaurant Gioia is not located on the ground floor of the hotel at Vasagatan 42 but at Gamla Brogatan 36–38, which means it is situated in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but with a separate address. This placement makes the restaurant accessible to both hotel guests and the general public. Gioia is therefore an independent destination within the Elite Hotels sphere and thus appeals to a broader audience than overnight guests alone. The hotel's Green Key certification means that the business actively works with environmental and sustainability criteria, which may also be reflected in the food and beverage offering provided within Elite Hotel Adlon's various dining areas, including the breakfast buffet and bar. Gym, sauna, cold bath and meeting rooms

Elite Hotel Adlon has a gym with an adjoining relaxation area that includes sauna and cold bath. According to the hotel's own channels, these facilities are available to all hotel guests without a separate entrance fee, which means they form an integrated part of the hotel's offering rather than a standalone spa facility with its own terms. Adjacent to the relaxation zone is a lounge area connected to the gym, which provides an opportunity for recovery in direct connection with exercise.

For conferences and meetings, the hotel offers three meeting rooms located one floor below the entrance level. The rooms have large windows overlooking a shared conference lounge, creating a bright and cohesive environment for smaller groups. The largest room is called Sofia and accommodates up to 12 people with boardroom seating on an area of 22 square metres. The other two rooms, St Erik and St Göran, accommodate up to 8 people each. Overall, the meeting rooms are well suited for smaller work groups, internal meetings and workshops, but are not dimensioned for large conferences. The hotel's location near Stockholm Central Station makes it logistically suitable for external participants travelling in.
